On March 2, 2007, The Copyright Royalty Board (CRB) approved royalty rates that will bury any small webcaster, and create a heavy burden even for big broadcasters like Yahoo, AOL Music and Pandora.
This also effects WRAJ Internet Radio and its network of internet radio
stations. How high will these rates be? Around 100% of a small webcasters
revenue, give or take a few points, in most cases. The ruling ignored
webcasting community proposals and set out the SoundExchange proposed "per
performance" rates (below) and a $500 minimum fee per channel per year.

| How Much Does WRAJ Internet Radio Will Pay?
|
It is uncertain, most likely it we will be paying over $10,000 a month for broadcasting legally.
Everyone, from listeners tuning into internet radio to the broadcasters themselves. Even the artists themselves will also suffer from marketing themselves with internet radio.
