If you have a Wii or a DS, I want to have your friend code! From Mario Kart, to Pokemon, I would like to have yours and I’ll give you mine! The top two games to have friend codes is Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Remember, with my Mario Kart and Brawl has two friend codes, one for the modified Wii and the regular Wii (yes, I have two Wiis). What can you expect when playing against me on my hacked Mario Kart… click here from my perspective, or here from a player’s perspective (its not the same race). Of course, I can help you gain VR points by making go faster by doing a Thundercloud Glitch, in which I bump into you with a Thundercloud and I do the rest to make your speed increase. So again, with Mario Kart Wii and Brawl, be sure to add both friend codes since I might be on one of them on a time.
My Brawl is little hacked, but its only at my end because they are texture hacks; such as Ike is Roy, Rob is Wall-E, and Ganondorf is Santa Claus.
I will establishing friend codes for other games, such as Pokémon Battle Revolution in the upcoming days, but if you have the game, tell me the friend code! I’m going to start playing more games then before because I am now out of school (what a sad way to put it).
Also, I am in the process of retiring my original Nintendo DS and transition into the DSi I got when it came out during the weekend of I-CON. So if my friend codes do change, I will let you know, as of right now, everything seems to be fine.
To see a list of friend codes I have, click here. Please contact me for friend codes not listed.
Antonio and Gannypoo is already on the internet by appearing not only first on my blog, but on YouTube. About a few days ago, a racer, YouTube user XxMickeyxX23, was in one of the many races that Ganny and I were in (and I remember this race) recorded their experience of what it was like in a race if Ganny and I are in with our unlimited Spinies (Spiny, blue shells, what ever you want to call it). We did play red light green light on this stage, but no one stopped. The video is here on Youtube or you can watch it below (some imported feed sites such as Facebook won’t work with watching the video).
If you played Mario Kart Wii online with the Nintendo Wifi Connection (Nintendo WFC), you might of went against Antonio (thats me) and if he isn’t solo, a player name Gannypoo will be the guest. In the past few weeks, we’ve decided to change the rules a bit. Because we now have unlimited Spinys (thats what it is called in the games manual, but some of you call it a blue shell) at our disposal, we are deciding to play another type of racing game, this game is called Red Light, Green Light. The rule is quite simple, when Antonio or Gannypoo stops, you stop. if we backup, you backup. Not complying with these rules will result in Spinys to who ever is first until we get the lead. Some players that we have played in the past had follow the rules, such as Mii players named B@rry, James, Tiffany, Samantha, and many others (we just forgot their names). We will have a new log every week of those Miis who follow the rules, which are available here. If you would like to have our friend code, click here to see my friend codes list page. And since we need your friend code, click here to email me and you can give me your friend code. And maybe, we can play Red Light Green Light together or just a formal race.
So whenever you catch Antonio and Gannypoo online on Mario Kart Wii, you’ll know that red light green light might be the game to play!
Enjoy the Spinys (or blue shells, or whatever you want to call them)
Let me just say “I Told You So” to my friends who I would predict this back late last year through earlier this year. Nintendo’s next portable video game console is the Nintendo DSi, although some would not consider the system “the eighth generation.” The Nintendo DSi is just what I predicted, a DS model with more expensive hardware and several upgrades.
Well what will be inside the new DSi, well there will two cameras, one exterior (like a cell phone) and an interior (showing your face for online play with other DSi owners). The DSi will also have a larger screen, compared to the original DS model (shown in the picture).
And there is a new port that might have some people happy. There will be a SD card slot, so you will be able to save and listen to music, and play downloaded games. And did I forget to mention, that there will be a similar Wii Shop Channel on the new version so that you can download games right onto your SD card.
And what happened to that DS Browser I was so hyped about two years ago and no longer use. Well, the new model is going to have the browser built-in, but hopefully it will have some improvements.
However with these new improvements, there has to be a departure of a port that we might not use anymore, and that is the GBA slot
You might see my upgrade to this system, however, I am going to need to wait. The system is launching in Japan in November at $180 and is expected to launch in the United States Spring-Summer 2009.
The next home game system for Nintendo is Wii HD, expected to launch in 2011. And just like the title says, the system will not only be in high definition but it will also solve the memory problem by having a hard drive. The Wii HD will also have a powerful processor compared to the 786 MHz processor in the current model. Also, Nintendo will be working with download content, maybe most of these games will be downloaded. And as I said about a year ago, “game systems will go “disc-less” in less then 20 years and become strictly download. Maybe that will come soon and could cause Game Stop and other video game stores to close its doors (sorry Fred and Sarah). And yes, the Wii HD will be 100% backward compatiable, no words if it will work with GameCube games.
Wii HD is a code name and could be called something else eventually down the road but I don’t see “Wii” being dropped.
Mario Kart Wii is finally out, actually it has been out now for about 2 weeks. Since getting the game, I’ve been planning to play the game each day, thats something I don’t do with video games I get, including Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Currently, my favorite game on the Wii is Mario Kart, not Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
During gameplay, I do use the GameCube controller instead of the promoted “WiiWheel.” I gave it a try several times, but I think it was too crazy for me to learn it. With the looks of the Gamecube version and the feel of the DS version, it made me feel more comfortable playing and others as well. With the Gamecube version, none of my friends wanted to play it because of the complicated setup of having 2 people in the car rather than one. With the Wii version, all my friends are able to play easily; including my sister who uses the Wii wheel.
Mario Kart has the exciting feature of playing people online, which I’ve been doing since I got the game. I’ve been playing online in 2-player mode with my sister Jen (her Mii is on the left of the top image) and Mike (his Mii is on the right); so far, I played over 300 races online with people worldwide (not regional) with over 6500 VHR points. When I play online, I might be by myself or with one of the Miis above (see below for names) and we will always choose Coconut Mall (in Worldwide or Regional Races); don’t forget it!
Sadly, I don’t have any friend codes so I haven’t been playing online with friends. If you would like to see my Mario Kart Wii friend codes and other friend codes click here.
The next game I am waiting for is Animal Crossing for the Wii.
Miis on top image from left to right: Jen, Fred (as Chouji), Anthony (as Antonio), Sarah (as Sita), and Mike (as Gannypoo).
Brawl is out and so is my friend code for the game! My friend code has been posted with my other friend codes by clicking here. (Basically like the DS games)
So far the game has been okay, but there are some things I am not happy with the game.
Since the game does not use the same friend code as your Wii System, you are required to connect to the internet with Brawl to get your friend code. You can obtain your and add friend codes by going to the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection on the main menu, clicking on friends, and then Friends list.
Well, there was a major incident here at the WRAJ Internet Radio studios earlier this week after an accident involving our Nintendo Wii video game system. (more…)
This is my fourth year going (I Think, maybe three) to ICON (I-CON), which I didn’t go last year. This year was pretty fun, and I did cosplay for the first time this year, since I had a few minutes and bucks to make a costume. I dressed up like Mario, from Super Mario Bros. I got a lot of compliments from other guests of the convention and friends. All I need is to get a mustache, which Mary and Jen helped me out; little Chris is willing to sell me the one that used for the Pants skit for $19.99 (I think not!).
Congrats to skit performed by Jen, Sam, Sarah, Amy, Robin, Melissa, and Jeff (known as ‘Ruffles’), which won second place. The recording and audio editing were all done here at the WRAJ Internet Radio studios!
