The WRAJ Internet Radio website wrajradio.com celebrated its fifth anniversary earlier this month and the site template will be turning five years old as well in November. WRAJ Intenret Radio’s website won numerous awards, mostly with its creative graphics and design. With this time of anniversary, I would like to let you preview of what’s going to be the new wrajradio.com, a new site look that will take its expected launch in January. Since 2006, we have been planning to launch a new version of wrajradio.com that would take affect in 2009 by creating 4 website templates and narrowing it down to 1 that took place for a full year. Just in the past week, it was the first website template that we designed in 2006 would best fit for the new wrajradio.com.

Above is a snapshot of what the new wrajradio.com will look like. Still using the horizon on the ocean graphic, the left vertical navigation will turn to a horizontal navigation bar with drop down menus, similar to the ones on our site right now. After testing this template on our website that is not yet public, we noticed that the site is much cleaner and provides easy navigation. The new website also reveals a new modified version of the 2004 version of the WRAJ Internet Radio logo.
The template was originally designed in early 2006 and was recently modified so that this template will become affect as early next year. And yet again, the template was designed in-house by the same crew that designed the 2003 template.

I-CON is over and this year it was a little different then the years past. Some of my friends were a little disappointed about this year’s I-CON than the other years we have gone. I’ve been going to I-CON for the past seven years and I was disappointed as well. The convention wasn’t a complete disaster, but the convention just needed better planning and organization.

Next year, I-CON will be at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood, and it will also be its home hotel in Ronkonkoma, Holiday Inn by MacArthur Aiport, and it will also be at the Hyatt Hotel in Ronkonkoma on Motor Parkway.  We heard rumors of a fourth location but it has not yet been confirmed.
