Well, I’ve been getting a lot of complaints, especially from friends, about the photo gallery on my site. Las week, I embedded new coding that prevents people from downloading the images posted on the gallery; and second I placed a wrajradio.com bug on top of the image incase if someone Print-Screens the image.
I’ve done this after weeks of discussing with several members at the station and legal department. And then after an agreement, we put the new coding.
And I after I posted the Anime Boston 2007 pictures on my site, many people started emailing me with the complaints. “Your just another faceless webguy to me now,” said a WRAJ Internet Radio staff member in a conversations a few minutes ago.
We also stated that if any image downloaded or captured any image in the photo gallery, we will take legal action. Which is true, even to people I know, so if you want to put any image up anywhere else (including MySpace, Facebook, Photobucket, etc.), you will need to have written permission (can be done in email) to use the image outside of the site. This rule has been with my site since the beginning (2003), and now we are beginning to enforce the rule.
And I want to let everyone know that this coding is final and will never be put down.
Yes, another con I went too! This time it was Anime Boston, in you know where… Boston! The convention was pretty cool, there were awesome people there and I think I might go again next year again, thats if someone wants to come with me lol.
And good news for lovers of the Photo Gallery! There is now a Con section on the WRAJ Internet Radio Photo Gallery, which has all pictures from our previous trips to anime conventions. You can see the new section at http://www.wrajradio.com/photogallery/index.php?cat=7
I would like to give my deepest condolences to the family, friends and community of the Virginia Tech tragedy.
When I first heard about the tragedy Monday morning, I couldn’t believe how this can happen at a college. As a broadcaster of reporting breaking news for WRAJ and WFTU throughout the day, it was hard for me to report of what I was saying from the AP wire on-air. In my mind at the time, the only thing I could think of is how can happen to thousands of students my age with great talent and skillsĀ face the dangerous shooting rampage in this country’s history.
Last night, the first radio theater production at my college was a success! The production took place on the main stage at Five Towns, and was aired on WFTU. Johnny Got His Gun, The Hitchiker, and The Adventures of Superman’s Batman’s Great Mystery was performed last night.
In the audience at the theater, we had about 30 people, I think. And the next day, we learned that our streaming server was full with over 100 listeners!
By the success, it turns out that starting in the fall semester, there will be a radio theater production every other week.
I’m glad that I helped out with this new project and being part of it!
April Fools! I’m not moving… yet… to San Francisco. I am actually planning to move to either San Francisco or Florida within the next few years. I’m not looking for a place yet until a few months before my college graduation.
Several people took this seriously, but this might happen sooner than you think!
I have some news that some of you might find upsetting. After searching for a new home for many months, I just leased a new apartment in San Francisco and I will be moving into my new home in the summer. The apartment is located in Cow Hollow, off of Union and Webster street. The apartment is pretty cool, it has a great view of the city and the bay, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, a kitchen, and a den. I am looking for a room-mate, so call me up if you are interested and I’ll let you know how much it will cost and everything.
I am planning to attend New College (which is nearby San Francisco) for the fall to continue my mass communications major.
Many people questioned me, what will happen to WRAJ? WRAJ Internet Radio, as well as Jenthony Enterprises, Inc., will be moving into my new home as well. I am planning Friday, July 27, 2007, will be the last day of the station broadcasting from Long Island.
I hope no one will be upset by the news. I will promise to stop by Long Island from time to time when I move into my new home.
